PROJECTS
Threat Hunting and SIEM Detection
SPR600 · Winter 2026
Built custom Wazuh detection rules and Suricata IDS signatures mapped to MITRE ATT&CK techniques across a four-VM lab environment. Developed Python threat-hunting scripts and Elastic ML anomaly-detection jobs against large HTTP log datasets, documenting findings in structured incident reports.
Digital Forensics and Incident Response
SPR400 · Winter 2025
Wrote custom Splunk SPL searches and built dashboards correlating authentication, process creation, and network event data. Configured detection alerts against simulated intrusion data to surface lateral movement and credential abuse, then documented findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
Web Application Security Assessment
2025 - 2026
Completed 40+ PortSwigger Web Security Academy labs spanning authentication, JWT, OAuth 2.0, business logic, and access control vulnerability classes. Produced a 37-page penetration testing report with full OWASP WSTG methodology mapping for technical and executive audiences.
Security Research Blog
Technical writeups on vulnerability research, CVE analysis, and exploit development. Recent posts cover React2Shell exploitation and address poisoning attacks.
CURRENT FOCUS
Currently enrolled in advanced security courses including Web Security, Security Assessment, and Detection Controls. Actively researching modern attack techniques and building practical security tools.
